I have a new Florida Real Estate License. Will Blue Chip Referrals help new referral agents?
Yes. Simply put, your success is our success. We will get your license transferred to active and offer training. You will need to provide time to train.
Are referral agents required to join real estate boards, Multiple Listing Service or lease a multi-lock key?
No. You do not need to spend $2,000 to $3,000 or more in up-front fees to get started. You will not have these expenses when you join Blue Chip.
How do I join Blue Chip Referrals Inc.?
All the forms necessary to become active with us can be downloaded from the Forms page. We will also send the Policy and Procedure Manual for your review. Once you have completed your paperwork, you will need to send the forms along with your membership fee to us.
Can I list property?
No. You are licensed to do referrals.
Do I have access to the Multiple Listing Service?
No. You are a referral agent. The MLS is for full service brokerages who pay membership fees.
Are there any fees to place my license with Blue Chip Referrals Inc.?
No. If you select the Bronze Plan, it is FREE to start. If you select the Silver or Gold Plan there is a one time fee to join (Silver $49, Gold $79). Whereas, to go with a full service brokerage, you would incur start up fees between $2,000 to $3,000 or more to cover membership fees to the board, MLS, multi-lock, office fees, marketing fees and miscellaneous fees.
Why do you charge a fee to the agent?
Our program is set up where everyone has a vested interest in the company and it allows all working agents to earn income in days or weeks. It creates a working sponsor/mentor for all new agents. Every time a new agent joins Blue Chip Referrals Inc., whoever sponsored that agent receives a bonus for helping to build the company. This is front-end money not available in other referral companies. If you sponsor 2 agents, you will have made back your money. In addition, you will also receive a 5% bonus on all referral closings done by your directly sponsored agents. That’s 2 income streams before you’ve even handed in a referral.
Are there any other fees to join Blue Chip Referrals Inc.?
No. You save $2,000 to $3,000 or more by not being required to join any real estate boards, Multiple Listing Service, Multi-lock key lease, lockboxes or office expenses,etc. And without the ongoing expense, Blue Chip Referrals Inc. should be the best choice for new agents, inactive agents, retired or soon to retire agents and low production agents. 75% to 80% of all agents fit this category and will be out of Real Estate in 12 to 18 months.
Are there any yearly fees?
Yes. There is a $25 renewal fee after the first year, but this is waived if you have: sponsored another agent into the company and closed at least one referral deal, or sponsored two agents, or closed two referral deals.
How much does the state charge to place or transfer my license to Blue Chip Referrals Inc.?
There is no charge from the state to place your license (State has right to change).
What type of referral do I get paid on?
All. You get paid on any referral you submit that closes, as long as your license is active with us.
How much can a referral agent earn?
Your potential is unlimited. With Blue Chip Referrals Inc. you have multiple streams of income, not available from other referral companies and you will earn from all business you create. We have front end earnings, as well as residuals that can repeat over and over. Potential is there to have huge earnings.
How does a referral agent get paid?
A bonus is paid when you sponsor an agent. Within 15 days from that agent completing all their paperwork and submitting payment. (Required to honor money back guarantee for Silver and Gold Plans)
Referral closings. The referral check is mailed within 3 days from the receipt of payment from the referral broker.
How long do I have to keep my license active with Blue Chip Referrals Inc.?
You have no required time. You will however loose anything you built while active with Blue Chip Referrals Inc. if you leave. For example, if you have sponsored any agents, you will loose any future residuals from those agents. Or if you have any active referrals not yet closed, you will loose that commission. Basically, once you leave the company, you can no longer be paid anything.
What if my license is inactive or has expired?
Your inactive license can become active with Blue Chip Referrals Inc. by filling out the required paperwork and submitting your Blue Chip fee. If your license is expired, then please call us for an evaluation of your options to bring it up to date. You can update an expired license for up to 2 years.
Do I have to maintain my continuing education courses?
Yes. This is required by the state, to remain licensed. We also have online school.
Other benefits of keeping your license active are that you have continuous time as an active agent. It helps when qualifying for a broker’s license or specific job placement or assignment that requires a number of years of real estate experience.
How can I list property?
You cannot list property. You can refer the listing through Blue Chip Referrals Inc. and receive a percentage of the commission. On local referrals to our full service company can allow you to attend listings if okay with full service agent.
Can I earn a commission by buying or listing my own property?
Yes. It would work the same way as a standard referral, where you would receive a percentage of the commission when you put the referral through Blue Chip Referrals Inc. and the transaction closes.
Do I have the right to select the agent that’s assigned my referral?
Yes. Unless Blue Chip Referrals Inc. feels it’s in the best interest to assign to a different agent. This is explained in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
How do I register a new referral with Blue Chip Referrals Inc. or send my referrals to Blue Chip Referrals Inc.?
Fill out the referral form completely and email, fax, mail or drop off at the office. Then call to verify receipt.
Can I place a referral anywhere other than Florida?
Yes. Referral information is given to Blue Chip Referrals Inc., then placed with a full service brokerage anywhere in the world and you will receive the referral commission.
Do I have to keep track of my referrals?
No. Blue Chip Referrals Inc. will keep track of the progress of the referrals from start till closing and keep you informed.
What if I want to cancel my association with Blue Chip Referrals Inc.?
Just let us know in writing and we will immediately terminate your association with us. You will become inactive once the state is notified (by Blue Chip Referrals Inc.).
How would my sponsored agents be handled?
Your sponsored agents would be sponsored by your sponsor or the company as of your termination date.
Would I be able to get paid on any referrals that I have active once I leave?
If a referral is under contract at the time of your termination and it closes you can get paid, as long as your license is active. If your license is inactive, we are not allowed to pay you. If the referral goes under contract after your termination date, you will forfeit the commission.
Do you have a real estate licensing school?
